I'd say a 3.5L manual TH executive. Get a white one and colour code it.. mmm.. that'll look sweet. You can get TJ's for around $10,000 if you're lucky too. Saw one for $8500 but had 130,000 kms. But I prefer the look of the TH's so I would get a manual 3.5L TH with low kms.

Only have Auto license, cant drive manual legally. hehe

Check out carsales.com.au. There is a nice red verada for 10 grand, and a black xi for 10900.
Just circle all cars up to 12 grand and start offering people 9000. It's a buyers market, someone will give in.

if its 9g's cash u got some bargaining power at dealerships but really look at the TH's for that price range a nice base model TH exec (make sure its a 3.5 ltr)

in adleaide there was a 1997 magna exec wagon...white fully optioned manual for $8500 so yeah...if ur in adleiad elook for road and track motors it was there...on main north road

I picked up my TH altera LS for $10500 not too long ago, private sale. But any 3.5L TH is a good buy for around $9000, with not too many K's on it
