Ok, i wanna eventually have a black interior with silver trim, as in have a silver centre console, air vent surroundings and dial surroundings (guys with 2nd gens willl know what i'm talking about).
Do the vent surroundings pop out so that i can paint them outside the car?
also, how is it possible to change interior colour from blue to black? vinyl paint? dye? what stuff to use?
Any help on these would be terrific guys :D.

I used to own a TR that had exactly what you want to do already done including painting the demister vents silver. I found out later that it used to belong to TRboy and he had done the custom work on the interior, if you PM him i'm sure he could tell u how he got the dash and vents out and what paint he used he can also direct you to links of pics of the interior.

one of my mates has a toranna (thats not the joke lol) and she did here interior using paint stuff she bought from autobahn....its probably not the best but thats where u can get it from
