i have a TR (magna se) with the astron II motor which i wanna change for the 4g63 turbo

this is the mod list i wanna do:

exteria:
17" wheels ( either 17x7 or 17x8)
Custom Body Kit
GT-Wing
Paint the car black..currently blue

Mechanics:
King springs
computer
bigger turbo
exhaust inc hi flow extractors(twin exhaust)
custom heat sheild for hi flows
intercooler
bore and stroke the motor
change head gasket to get better compression

thats all i wanna do for now... is it worth it?
i was gonna use a 1998 magna but tr seemed like a lighter car..

if u got the money, it doesn matter what car u do it to..

either way its gonna cost abwhere between $8000-10,000

i was gonna use a 1998 magna but tr seemed like a lighter car..

Lol you pretty much listed what i wanted to do to my car, only no GT wing, and the engine i wanna use is the 3/3.5 Litre DOHC 24v V6 Twin turbo, would be far more powerful than the 4g63 turbo for sure.
Also some KS headlights (parabolics) and a KS front grill would look really nice on a black car! add them to the list.

hopefully when i get myne its not gonna be turbo's (p plate laws :() but extractors, air filter, custome CAI and 2.5inch catback, white, colourcoded, lowered on ultra lows

turbo engine and extractors? and better compression with turbo? and actually the TR is a fairly heavy car for what it is. being listed as 1350kg when its closer to 1400kg. The TE onwards is only slightly heavier at 1550kg i think but as i dont own one dont take my figure as is.

by extractors i think he means a custom exhaust manifold? but yeah, if you want to run big boost then i guess decompressing hte engine is a good idea, i have no idea about that motor you described but if it came out turbo then it would probably need some pretty big boost levels to require you to open up the motor.

Also, in my owners manual it claims my car (executive) weighs 1410kg with fuel ..but they may be wrong i dunno, and yeah, the only bonuses of doing it on a newer car will be less things breaking if you do get huge power, but i would love to see a turbo TR !

also add to this is the fact i wanna run 1.5 - 2 bars of boost and the 4g63 turbo will come out of an evo 3. main problem i have with the tr is i cant get clear lights..i was actually trying to c if it is possible to make the cars lights darker so it would suit the black.. with the 17" rims i wanna get vault chrome wheels (ESTRELLA).
