JB Hifi....Northfield? off the top of my head...
why not get a circuit breaker? I have one, serves me well. Hell of a lot cheaper than a damn fuse. Then again, some ppl reckon CB's are stupid n stuff. Up to you.
what on earth do u need 0 gauge for? e-audio? also, did u get my pm?

You can order it from Stinger = exxy... Or BOC gases = Cheap $7 a metre.
If you dont wanna spend heaps on fuseholders, just buy an ANL fuse, and mount it onto a bracket that you can attach the wires too directly. The ANL fuses are sealed anyway so you wont have any problems.
When buying 0 gauge factor in the cost of ) gauge components, fuseholders, distro block terminals... Cos they bump the price up big time.
I think they know you are serious about ur audio and have a lot of money to spend :(
Peace
Tim
*Ripped the whole friggen car apart to get rid of that last bit of altenator whine...
Tip: avoid going under the dash in a magna as they are very noisy under there.

how thick is 0 guage
about 50mm2
0 gauge is around 8.2mm...(the metal part, without the insulation) i believe.....and 53.5mm^2
yeah, you could always go and get the cables welders use..heaps cheaper, but it doesn't have as many strands as car audio power cables.
0 gauge is overkill for any car stereo.....anything bigger than 4 gauge is just stupidity....u could run a whole neighbourhood off the ****....if yur having power problems u need a better battery/alternator.
one of the sparkies at work told me that the reason ppl are using such thick cabling in car stereos is because of a translation error. 4gauge japanese is ALOT smaller than the 4gauge we get here.....dunno how true this is but this guy really knows his **** so im guessing its right.

0 gauge = bling bling-fully sick thick arsed cable :D
No, i really don't see the point of 0 gauge unless u were drawing SERIOUS current. But hey, its what the customer wants :)

i been told by every car audio place that i have rung that i have to have 0 gauge
yes, well, there you go, hardcore wire for a hardcore system :D
You won't pay too much for it when getting it off us. We give Magna forum members discounts on it all. ;)

I got 0 gauge... Saves having to ever install new cable :)
It's not that overkill, the wire isn't that big. 50mm. You don't even notice it in the car.
plans have recently changed after some impulse buying.
Also sourcing an Odyssey battery pretty much got it sorted, gonna go the 400 cca version me thinks and some bling bling stinger terminals
Any wire can be justified if it leads to less power loss, doesn't cost the earth, and doesnt harm your car. Already been through this a while back (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11349) a on here, and I cbf justifying it anymore :P
Megatron, what battery have you got and how many amp hours from it.
If you need a 200 amp anl fuse i gots a couple, but in VIC and might not b worth ur while...
Peace
Tim
