View Full Version : High flowed Throttle Body & 1st Gen?

Was reading the archives on here last night and came across what TH Smoker done to his magna would it be worth doing to a 1st gen efi? i had a look on my spare EFI car that gos to the wreckers tomorrow, and it also has the large lip befor the butterfly i wasnt expecting it to be so big! is it worth grinding down on a 1st gen if so ill remove the dam TB in the dark or befor work :) that way if i screw it up i have a spare

well, y not give it a go. grind out the spare one and install that. see how it goes and if u dont like it, swap it back to the stock one

without increasing the butterfly size all yuo will really see is more air per throttle position, WOT flow rate wont change im sorry.

lol i rebuilt the most of my motor at around 1-3am cos ide get home from work/drinking and have nothing else to do.. im suprised it worked :badgrin:
