how can i tighten my steering so it doesn't have as much freeplay - it's heaps loose and it's getting annoying now - i'd love it to be really crisp and tight.

i dont have powersteering...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but loose steering is usually caused by a worn rack & pinion or ball joints. Jack the font up (both wheels) and wiggle the wheels around and see where the free play is. Then get a spanner and start tightening things :confused:
