View Full Version : Woot! - ive got my leather fix!

woo hoo!!

got my Sparco seats back from Melbourne!!! i ordered em specially. The base is a Sparco Siena retrimmed in a black leather.

the seat - $820 each
retrim - $390 each
total - around $1210

with rails... but i have to get a modified rail cos' the magna seat base is longer then the Sparco "universal" mounting... would fit those damn lancers tho :rant:

oh, and the spidery thing is just to add some "detail" to it.. by law, they cannot rebadge the "sparco" onto the seat - cos, they could be sue'd for trying to impersonate a brand... altho it "is" sparco seat- Sparco, do infact sell their own leather seats, (but like 1900ea) so yer, would of been sweet to see "sparco" badged into it... but these guys are pro's and i can understand that they dont want their rep messed with...... i thought about putting a mitsu logo, but then thought again, and nah.... so this lil spidery thing will do :D

enjoy!! - oh, and when $$ persists, ill get the rear seats retrimmed in black leather with lil spidery things :P

just wait for the pics of em in the car

Seats look really nice, looks like a good job on the trim too

Not a fan of the spider though...
Pity about not being able to get Sparco on there. too late now, but why not something a bit more custom and a bit less... tacky? Booya logo or something? Even a Mitsu logo woulda have looked pretty sweet. I'm sure there would have been a guy around that could do that without too much hassle. Esp seeing the overall cost...
AMC logo ??? ;) lol

I dont like them, buts thats JMO, and the spider looks um well different also...

Looks pretty good. But seriously the only thing I would be doing with $1200 on your car is putting it into the RWD conversion fund :D
