Isn't it beautiful!!!!
Took the skirts off completely, quite easy and much easier to work on.
How about the all black mask - inside too. Check the subtle CAI inlet at the bottom left corner.
Sigh - I love my car. And have no life. lol

Looks great Killer ... i was considering a black grille too but decided against it... I have the side skirts on the cards too... what equipment/paint did you use for the side skirt? did you prime/sand it... how did you prepare the surface?

ive got a grey car, the side skirts are alright but they are still matt and non reflective whereas paint is, any car coloru coded looks 50x better

Thanks for comments. Yee, the black mask looks quite subtle in real life, all one can notice that it kinda looks different but can’t really point it out. Looks bit - hmmm, aggro…?
The door strips have a nut each end on the inside. Removing them loosens the strip and allows u to gently pull off the plastic plugs one by one. Use some flat tool to assist. Don’t bend the plastic too much.
Chassis strips have screws under the body. Jack up the car for access – lowered cars have no much more than 15 cm clearance and most screwdrivers/power tools are longer. This makes the simple job appear bigger. Again, gently pull the strip off plug by plug.
I washed them with Sugar soap and brush, inside out. Wiped with metho after – and had few sips of it too.
Paint them flat, if any running occurs, it will settle down better. Paint edges too.
I used white (white car!) self priming basic paint, 2 x 500 ml cans, 4 coats. Make coats light, these can paints are very thin and runny! Allow to dry as per instructions between coats. Hint, painting in sun makes the paint dry almost instantly, so any excesses will dry as such. Paint in shade and then “bake” in sun for 30 min or so.
I used 4 (or 5?) smaller cans (250 ml?) of the car colour, I think 4 or 5 coats again.
Note, the more u use primer and paint, the glossier the finish. My door strips are pretty shiny, regardless of the ruff plastic surface.
