Hey just wanted to show some pics of damage i recieved while I was parked I did not see the person who hit be but I assume it was a tow ball that reversed into me while i was reverse parked. :rant:

I not going to use my insurance as it will Hurt more as my Excess is very big !
The bumper is dented as you can see and there is some scratches also the thin peice of the VRX body kit is cracked above the driving light. :cry:
Can i have this repaired or does it all need to be replaced?
Can any one recomend someone in sydney areia that they are happy with?

Not sure of cost but the guys who fixed my B pillar damage (which was pretty bad) from the flying log were unreal.

Man that sucks, people with tow balls should be more carefull.

Towbars :rant: . The bumper my pop back out depending were the reinforcment is behind it, other than that they can often be repaired, as for painting i had a the corner of my taken out by a near sighted older person (not the term i used at the time) it cost $200 to be resprayed, remember the whole bar will have to be rubbed back and clear coated again - my guess is around $1000 - $1500 all up

my mate damaged his EF xr6 front bumper the other day, gave it to me to fix and i cant do it so a new bar for a falcon is $1500-hope its not the same cost for a vrx bar

i had mits price me a bar when i had my issue and they told me $260 for a bar... now its just a standard bar then you put the VRX bottom bits on it.. looks like the standard bar is only damaged.. then u need to paint it.. most important thing is they paint it properly..

You could fix the spoiler section, but if the bar is $260 like Ego says i'd go with that option. Probably about $200 at least to paint each section, so unfortunately prob could be as much as $1000. But that is exagerating. So def should be no more. Thats why i hate going to Penrith Plaza.

lol nah minee is already off, but far out thats annoying, you spend money on keeping your car all clean looking and some tool has to back into it and doesn't have the balls to own up to it.

i say you go a hunting for some guy with black smudge marks on his towball and give him a good ole fashioned punishment of some sorts!

You might be able to push it back out, but you'd still need to get that part of the bar resprayed which will probably be the most expensive part of the repair. Good luck, at least you can still drive it, but that's not the point really. You'll find that most people care only for themselves, hence why they didn't have the b&*ls to face you.

Luckily, I've never been in this situation, but I did see some moron in a Mighty Boy of all things back into another car the other day. The driver got out, pulled his hanky out, wiped the back of HIS car, then pulled out and drive off! Sheesh!

I am in Kingswood Near Penrith, haha yeah the Plaza Carpark Sucks, but this hapend at Penrith Pools carpark. Meh close enough to the plaza i guess lol, I just got a quote from Kingswood Smash Repairs

$184 for new bumper bar
$315 for the Left Side of the Bodykit, as there is a join in the middle.
$78.40 for the Fog Lamp Bezel as this is cracked to :cry:

Do u think if i have the left side of the body kit renewed and fresh paint ect the right side will look odd having one weathered and some stone chips ect and the other fresh as the bumper above it all will look new to. i am thinking just to quote to have the whole vrx front spoiler done what u all think?

Spewin. Hope all goes well for ya. Even small accidents cost a lot of $$. Am not surprised. Hate parking in tight spots. Pisses me off when people don't take responsibility and just drive off and you can do nothing about it. So many drivers on the road don't deserve to have a license. :confused:

thats alright mate someone ran into the back ov me as well dont know who it was cause they pissed off before i got back to my car. i need a new boot and 2 bottom panels.i think its gonna cost me $1500 plus the boot and the 2 panels
