Well... I've noticed it is nearly impossible, and pointless to replace the ones in the dash. So i was sondering if anyone has put them into the doors. i know i would have to remove the little lastic pouch in the door but thats no hassle, i really jsut wanna know if there is space behind it to fit a speaker in

Cheers

also how did you get it to it? from under the dash or pop the metal protecters off and do it that way!??

The speakers in the dash will never sound as good as the speakers in the doors.

I'd put the 6" in the doors, you'll love the difference. And eventually if you're an audiophile you'll get the shits with the dash speakers anyway, so you might as well put the door ones in

Screwdriver (flat-head) gently near the front of the speaker (not the front thats closest to the window) and pry it up. Once youve done that the front (at the front of the car) will come out. ;)

I just went out and bought 6" spacers from autopro, pioneer one. Cost me $30. If any one wants them, they can come over and pick 'em up, $5 :D

in the KR, there is already 5.25" spots in the door. Just a bit of hacking to fit the magnet (width problems for the plastic door spots). Easy :D just need to find a good spot for tweeters now :?
