Problem....

Once i fill my tank full, turn the engine on, the needle goes all the way to the top. (as per usual)
Once i turn the car off and start the car again, however, the needle slowly drops down to below empty. sometimes the needle goes back up slightly but drops back down again. the funny thing is though, the emergency fuel light doesnt turn on.
I am going to give my fuel tank a few gentle taps to try and maybe rectify the problem, but other than that, i am at a loss.....

anyone?

I'd like to say, yeah no worries, i'll go to mitsu..... but in reality i dont want to have to spend pointless $$ on something that could be easily fixed.

for example, the last time i took something to mitsu, they charged me $700 for 6 spark plugs and new injectors, when all i needed was a new oxy sensor (which was covered under warranty anyway)

You'r not wrong.Takes about an hour." Fuel level sending unit " ,its in the tank.You can get 1 from the wreckers :) .
