Hey Guys'n'Gals,

My seatbelt warning light (on dash) comes on when I start the car but then goes off, regardless of whether I have the seatbelt on or not. Is there a sensor somewhere that is supposed to tell mr computer that the plug is not plugged?? Or is this a feature for the more luxurious models and I just have a pretty dash light ??

TIA,
BirdMan

Its just a reminder light,so you wont forget to put it on(advised by mitsu dealer). But when i buckled all 5!! and turn the ignition on it never come up.Then unbuckle one it was back on.Go figure.

Great so I have to remember to look at the dash for that brief few seconds when I start the car to remind me to put my seatbelt on. Damnit in this day and age, you'd think the bl00dy seat belts would plug themselves in then I wouldn't have to worry about that damn light lol
