Hi All,

The modding/upgrading of my Std KR is about to begin. Finally!!!

I've got my hands on the front bar from a Diamante with the integral driving lights. It's looks as it's been modified as well. It looks lower than normal, but that could just be wishful thinking on my part :D

Anyway, does anyone have any do's or don'ts? I'll put pic's of the job on if I run into anything problomatic. From the threads on this job that I've seen here it should be a straight forward job (fingers crossed)

Cheers

It may look "modded" because of the additional lip. Most came with this lip, mine didn't :(

Yeah, I think you're right. I picked it up today and realised that it is the lip on the bottom that makes it look different.

I got it off a car at a wrecker, and cost me $60 :D . The car had all its glass smashed (including the parabolic headlights  ). Someone had taken exception to the owner and attacked it with a crowbar!!! I took it off (they were only to happy to let me do that :D ) so I could maybe find the easiest way to do it.

It'll need a rub down and paint (the better half has said "It will NOT be going on the car until it's painted!). I'll put up some pic's.

It's been lowered so I'm going to try to get the springs as well.

Cheers

Finally after waiting 5 BL***Y months the front bar has been rubbed down, painted and put on. As I thought it was straight forward :D

The pictures are self explanatry. Before, stripped and after (the next morning). Yes that it snow on the ground. In September!!! The week before we were in the 20s!
The last photo was the view outside my front door.
