EFI Conversion *A must according to me..but others might argue*
RPW extractors,
2.5" mandrel bent cat back exhaust
Lukey LR2779 muffler
Rising Rate Fuel pressure regulator.
Port and polish

Then you can move into bigger things such as the greddy emanage system but I'd get stage 1 or 2 cams first and then after that it's all about Turbocharging ;)

Possibly a lightened flex plate...I *think* that Blake has them.

Because your astron is carby, this isn't always a bad thing! In the 80's, sigma's had the same engine and it was popular to turbo them (i even believe Mitsubishi made a turbo sigma, or at least a turbo astron).
Seeing your engine is out of a 91 magna, i'm guessing its done a few miles so a total rebuild consisting of heavy duty internals wouldn't go astray. You can even go to the extent of quad throttle body intake for some serious noise and revs.
With the stage 3 rebuild of the astron II by RPW, they bore it out to 2.9 litres and give it a redline of 8,000RPM!!

If you've got the $$$ anything is possible!
