Anyone swapped the stock to something else? If so, what is it? What difference did you notice? Did it fit straight in as it was the same length as the stock cat?

It's hard to feel a difference in performance for me at this stage. but cats come in different lengths, so it might be too long or too short, I rather u get one which is longer so that you can cut off the excess and not weld an extension. Most importantly is the diameter.
My High Flow Cat is MagnaFlow

Yeah, all I want to do is a straight swap where possible. Internal diameter is what I care about too. Blake might be able to get back to me about the size differences. I'll measure mine this weekend.
Did it have any effect on the exhaust note? Quieter or deeper? I wasn't expecting a performance boost.

You will be able to hear a slight difference in exhaust sound... barely but you should hear the difference..

I've been told that for the money of changing to a high flow cat, it's not worth it. The exhaust shop i went to said don't bother, and a magna guru on here personally told me that his exhaust shop said the same thing. Put your dollars somewhere else cause unless you've got a car built only for the track, don't bother

Yeah, the stock cat is good for over 200kW so it's not worth doing unles you've gone hardcore. Just thought I'd see who's done what.
