hey all
i am starting my boot enclosure this weekend.
i am going to make a faulse floor, and sidewalls that pretty much match up to the subs.
instead of carpeting everything, i was thinking of getting some real nice timber and polishing it.
how do u recon this would go ?
as far as looks and sound quality ?
i plan on carpeting the boot lid thou.....
any ideas muchly appreciated..

What, go and get some quality timber, sand it down, and paint it up all shiney? Honestly, I reckon it will look like sh!t, but it will definately be unique. If you want to do that, remember to use 12V halogen down lights, that should give a nice classy-ish unique look.
You could try glass, stainless steel, steel cables and wood- almost like a contemporary house sorta theme if you want.
Can't go wrong with carpet, just get something nice that wont die in 2 weeks. Or you could get FLUFF!!!!!!
