Here is it guys, my new FPR unit my friend designed..

Sleek new look, Glycerine filled gauge to stop the needle from vibrating, click knob to tell you how much turns you did to increase or decrease the fuel pressure...

Note that an FPR does not give you more power, it's there to eliminate flat spots and provide increase fuel pressure. As an Example, if I install the RPW Stage 2 Cams and not use any A/F meter or device, the FPR will come in handy as it will smoothen the rough idle rate of the car, on top of that, I will also increase the idle rate as well...

So, you can vary the presure how you want? What does the RPW one do? I thought it automaticlly increased the presure. I think I'm lost :?

So if you go stage 2 cams, without installing an aftermarket ECU but install a FPR, will that be enough to run smoothly? I've just heard different stories about these things

Its a cheaper way to get passed it but its not the most effecient and reliable way of doing it. I wouldn't reccomend it but people have done it without any problems at all.

Like Blake said, it's only good as a temporary measure, in the long run, it's not recommended, I am just using this as an example to state the use of an FPR. :D I'd still be getting an A/F Controller to handle the cams.

RPW stocks FPR from FSE, one of the best around. Basically both FPRs work the same way, where you can adjust the pressure of the fuel manually, what I meant by click knob is like how you would turn the bezel on a chronograph watch (eg. Tag Heuer) where it clicks everytime you turn it. FSE ones requires a screwdriver where you adjust the pressure by turning the knob 1/4 turn at a time. For my one, it's similar but it just uses clicks to tell you that's all... :)

Chris,
The cheap way to do this is just get a normal brass screw valve that looks like a tap and a pressure guage. The tap will cost you about $15 and you can adjust the backpressure as much as you wan. It will look good but won't do anything.

Cheers
