That's cause they are removable, a report in wheels magazine said if you know how to drive then take it off, it will scrape,,,,,,maybe they had a few eager test drives.

all i can say is "GIMME GIMMME GIMME" (RalliArt that is)
as 4 the price they were 52k on road.
the mitsu dealer @ marooka in bris had 1 with 60km on it (yes 60). He wouldnt let me drive it tho... bastard. just cuz i'm only 18 and wanted to thrash the f**k out of it.
But he said they wanted to get rid of it by the end of the financial year and would do me a deal for 48k on road with 2 years rego and insurance and a years free services.
I told him that free services there were no good since i lived 800km away.
I got some stickers out of it tho muhahahaha. Ralliart stickers on the TP.

I did this once - didn't even get the car out of 2nd gear - go about 30m from the shop entrance (all the way sideways) and he wont let me back into the car yard!! haha

Thats y u go for private sales. u leave ur keys with them so they dont go with u then u can do what u want.
it was an MA71 3l turbo version. had to drive around for 15mins after to get rid of the smell of burnt rubber. muhahahahahaha
Didn't end up buying it. found a TT 1jz version for half of what there worth in mint condition.

When i was selling my VN this guy took the car for test drive ( i was sitting him) and his drving really made me scarred and i was not sure if he was test drving or practicing to running from copps.
So lesson learned: Dosent matter how respectable a buyer looks like never let him test drive alone.

back on the ralliarts i heard ex lease ralliarts ( the ones the executives at mitsu get to drive) will be selling soon for about 25-30k
at mitsu they let some of the workers (my dad too) test drive the evo6 and one guy went straight threw a roundbout and killed it. imagine making the call to ur boss oh and they fried the clutch in another one

Hey, if you think that's bad, one of the test drivers at the end of holdens production line rolled a brand new car on the short test track on site a few years ago.
Needless to say he wasn't there the next day and the track is much shorter now
