Looking at getting headers in the near future. I live in north brisbane, does anyone have any recommendation of places to go? Is there any point of inquiring about getting RPW headers sent over? I've got the 4cyl engine by the way.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for no actual help, but I just wanted to put my hand up too to ask the same questions!

sorry i missed this thread but i have headers/extractors on my 4cyl. RPW dont actually make them for the 4cylinder or at least they didnt when i got mine. When i was looking around there was the choice of lukey, hi-tech and wildcat. All made from mild steal with the space for the oxygen sensor. I chose the hi-techs as they had a heat proof coating. They improved mid-range torque but of course i have no dyno figures just going by feel of the drive from my perspective. Not a spectaculat difference but noticable, the other difference was the increased fuel consumption. i went from using 11L/100kms to 12.5L/100kms. possibly due to the fact that i have a bit of a heavy foot but its stayed at this consumption for the 9 months ive had them so... I dunno if they still make the wildcats anymore but i can remember someone having them on the forum so ask around for their opinion.

headers = extractors, same thing, every car has headers/extractors, but when someone says, "I have extrators", they are usually referring to aftermarket ones, which are meant to give more power by freeing up exhaust flow from the engine :).

fuel ecomony is great now, 7litre/100km to perth.. and around Mandurah 10/100
but when i flog it like 15-20/100km hahah
Extractors let your car breathe better creating more power and less strain on the engine?

yeh i spose yours being manual helps. Mine being auto sucks up a bit more fuel. IM sorta undecided if they were worth it. I ended up getting mine for pretty cheap at $270 but now with rest of the exhaust on i think it needs an FPR to get rid of some flat spots which only developed after the mods.
