Does anyone know where i can get aerosol paint to match the colour of my car? I want to paint my door protector panels (sideskirts) and I am having difficulty finding the right colour.

I have looked at the colour codes from this forum and found my Magna to be "Frontier Green" and the colour code is "TJ". Its a 1998 TF Magna.

u take your colour code.....and go to any carshop (i.e, autobarn, auto1, supercheap, bla bla bla....)
walk into the paint section, open the paint booklet thingy, then find "mitsubishi" then find mitsubishi paint code "TJ" look across the page and it will give u that brands code for your colour....
be aware thought the colours arent always a perfect match, i've tried 3 different brands of spraypaints and each has a slight variation in colour.

Mitsubishi colours are actually very hard to come by. I can't get the blue for my car for example and know that there are at least 7 colours not available.

You'll need to find a parts store that will mix the colour up for you in a spray can pack. This may mean some ringing around to find them. Ask around when you do ring someone may know where to go to.

You'll be looking at around $25 for a largish can and it will be a perfect match :)

don't use the cheap paint in an aerosol can it is enamel and is not colour fast and tends to fade in less than 2 years.
If you must use paint in an aerosol then find an auto paints shop or spare parts shop that will supply paint in an aerosol can that has been mixed to order to match your paint code, This costs about $20-25 for a can of automotive acrylic which is fair quality paint and is easy to buff to a reasonable finish.

There the ones on the door yeah? Better to get them professionally done because they add stuff to the paint to make it flexible. That part always hits the ground and presses against the body so it will get chipped pretty quickly. Though you'll pay about $150.

yeh paint shop is the best if you want a perfect match and they will put it in a pressure pack for you. I got one recently for my car and its a perfect match no difference at all well i cant tell anyways.
