hey guys'n'girls
just finished making my new parcel shelf, completely carpeted.
i used 16mm MDF and about 2m x 1.5m of speaker box carpet, a can of spray glue, jigsaw, and some heavy duty staples n staple gun.
Took a weekend to do, had alot of dramas getting it to fit, alot of taking bits here and there but soughted it out and looks awesome. A big improvement on the sound quality of the speakers (no more rattling through the body and no more tinny sound) alot more bass as well.

Looking Very Nice!!
Ive said it before and i will say it again; that is one sexy looking rear end!!!
Suggestions:
1. Paint your rocker cover!!!
2. Move battery to the boot to make space for a decent intake.
3. Your pedals dont have rubber on them from what i can see, thats not roadworthy, probably best to get some new pedal pads put on.
:D

and i will paint my rocker cover soon, but im gonna paint it silver but better then it already is
whats involved to move the battery? my dad did it a couple of years ago in his Pontiac, but i cant remeber how?

if you get pulled over, there listed as a defect, listed as a safet fact, coz of slip of shoe on metal over rubber.
even tho cars with them on stock are legal.

TO move the battery in the boot, you need to get a battery box and run a cable to the body and chassis for your negative, and you need to run a cable up to the engine bay, i ran mine under the carpet, along the passenger side, the end of this connects to the starter motor and another couple of wires along the way, if you wante more details speak to me on MSN. :D
Have a read of this... might give you some idea about moving the battery

Best thing i ever did was move mine, but then...i had to :P Makes so much more room in the engine bay for a CAI or whatever...

how do you move the battery into the boot, is it just a matter of making relays to the relays in the engine bay?

go to like mitsi or super cheap theyll sell replacment rubber things
and isnt it bad to have the battury in the boot cos of fumes the battury gives out unless you vent the box outside

yeah, apparantly it is bad, because it gives of hydrogen gas, i need to vent mine...
No, no relays are needed, you basically just run a cable from the battery in the back to the engine bay...
