i just realised that my left lights shine brighter than my right (from front perspective)! at first i thought it was just a bulb defect but when i switched to high beam, it was also pretty obvious that the left side was brighter than the right. anyone know anything abt this? poor electrical connect, faulty circuitry???

Check the earth connection.
Other thing to try is to put the indicators on on that side, are they dimmer as well/ headlamp bulb flashes dimly in time as well.

In this case the problem is the headlamp earth point.

No idea where tho.

check the bulbs, maybe that siude got replaced with new bulbs that are brighter than the old ones, i know it happened to me when i got a light replaced they put some brighter ones in it and left the other side the same, till i went back and made them change it...

Put on your hazards. If both the indicators have the same brightness, and the headlight bulbs and the headlights themselves are in the same age and condition (unlike mine, my driver's side is new), then check the aim of the brighter one: most likely it is aiming higher than the dimmer one.

My 2 cents.
