Hi guys and girls,

Finally got over the dent made in my account by the stupid stamp duty and other fees etc of buying a car, and am looking at things to spend more money on!

Ive got a new mp3 deck, and getting a stereo system sorted.

But the questions:
1. What size is the TH Sports standard exhaust, and is it mandral bend? I thought I read somewhere it was 2.5" already, so is it worth me changing it or just getting a hi-flo cat and muffler fitted?
2. I read an article by autospeed that the headers on the Sports were very good and it wasnt worth the cost getting extractors... true?
3. Where in Adelaide can I get bodykit parts from?
4. Whats the advantages of getting an 22mm adjustable whiteline rear swaybar over the fixed 22mm whiteline one? I do no track driving.

Sorry bout all the questions!! :)

Thanks in advance
Pete

Sorry can't help you with the questions but:
'd get a strut brace for sure, well worth the $170 Delivered from Phillcom Rally (www.phillcomrally.com) .
Massive difference in steering response and cornering, and all but eliminates torque steer on hard take offs. I was skeptical of the amount of difference it was quoted as making at first, till I actually bought one. Easy to fit too, takes about 10 -15 mins and a couple of spanners or a small shifter.

I would love to do that, but dont know if my current insurance would like it. I tried doing it on my skyline i had with them and they said no...

hi,

1. yes it is an mandrel bent system. most people have changed the rear muffler and got good gains from it. you dont need to change the cat just yet as your only doing minor mod... but this is arguable with others. THe Lukey has been popular with alot of drivers with a steady price of $250 installed
2. I changed to pacemakers headers. I notice low end gains from them maybe high as well, so it did improve over the sports headers. pacemakers are around 450 fitted if you can find that kinda price.. i think most people paid around $500 mark
3. cant help you there but there are afew website that do sell magna kits. www.ssv.com.au ... theres also jetspeed i think.
4. there were a few people who changed the rear sway bar and opted for a thicker one... forgot the size but they noticed better handeling.. do get a strut bar as you will deff notice the difference in driving! its easy to put on and off.. so you dont really have to worry about the insurance issue.

hope that helps..
keep doing searches and you'll find all you need.. as i have.. :D :D

It's interesting that you mention that, because I've been thinking over the last few days that the torque steer under full acceleration makes the thing a real handfull, and that's just with the standard 147Kw, I was wondering how you guys go coping with higher output motors.
