do u actually have to own a ralliart to be able to get ur hands on ralliart magna parts such as the ralliart steering wheel??

i like the look of them but not sure if its just as easy going for an aftermarket wheel like a momo or something similar... i just like the look of the ralliarts...

any thoughts???

If you've got an airbag steering wheel, then your options to replace it with any aftermarket item are limited and costly.

The Ralliart wheel is basically the standard Magna airbag wheel wrapped in Momo leather with slightly harder (stiffer) padding than the normal VR-X/GTVi wheel. There are a number of aftermarket car upholstery places that should be able to do a good imitation at far less expense than Mitsu will try to rip you off for on a genuine Ralliart wheel (plus you probably need a Ralliart VIN).

If you've got a non-airbag wheel, the world's your oyster - there's a sh*tload of nice wheels out there.

Is there a pic of one somewhere?
Cause thats not a bad idea... I assume they have all the factory airbag stuff as well. Im not real fussed with my TH Sports wheel, and if a Ralliart looks better it might be the way to go...

<--- Points to avatar, this wheel is about $450 from Mitsu (VR-X wheel)

But save yourselves about $300 and speak to Anthony from Phillcom Rally

Not joking, when I bought one for my old ride a few years back that was the price I was quoted by more than one dealer. It's not the price I paid though, you'd have to be nuts to pay that price.

The price I got quoted from one dealer was closer to $600.

Mate got one and it cost him $499 + boss kit!

Wonder if insurance would like me if I got a non-airbag wheel... I can tell em not to worry bout insuring my cranium and it might save me some money! :D

You don't have to worry about insurence it's illegal to replace a airbag wheel with a non airbag one.
