hey all, i have the Alpine MP3/CD Player CDA-7894RB. Just wondering if anyone else has this same unit, or is familiar with it. I havent had much of a go at it, but my MP3's dont seem to play on it, is there any particular CD or programm u guys use? anyon eelse had any problems

Yep I've got that exact headunit, along with the MP3 stacker.
My "2" MP3 CD's work fine. I haven't made many yet.
Just used nero, settings were: no multisession, finalize CD. Filesnames only appeared as 8.3 format though, but still played okay.

8.3 as in the old DOS filename format, not the long filenames that windows uses.
In other words, it'll only displayed the first 8 charactors of the filename, then the first 3 charactors of the extension (which is .mp3 anyway)

umm just create a normal data CD in nero...in the options set it to no multisession...then add the Mp3 files, etc etc...then when you go to burn, select the finalise box.
