Since i'm rather poor now, I was thinking of munching up my grill to something that looks as cool as DVS' :D

Now, i'm aware that TF grills aren't as good or easy to mod as the TH ones, and I don't intend to buy a TH one, since i'm a scungy person. I have a bit of mesh left over from my boot install, so i might use that..

Anythoughts? I think it will be hard to make it look all shmick.

Can i hide the clips down two bottom corners?

Actually...how do i get it off!! Do i need to rip out that rubber/plastic strip up the top with 2000 plastic clips in it? After that,, i think the grill just unclips out. yeh? thoughts?

i was thinking of cutting everthing out, so there's just a frame, then meshing everything up (similar to civic-type-r) grills...

grrr...thats what i wanna know! where to cut stufff, and stuff not to cut so i can still clip my gril back in etc etc...

Well.. I've done it to a TF grill.. and yeah.. it didn't come out too bad.. Once I find it I'll show you.. its bogged, sanded.. but unpainted!

Haven't bothered.. But once I do find it.. I'll take some happy snaps.. I've lost the clips for the centre.. so ill prolly quick tie that or something.. It didn't come out too shabby either.. cost me $7 all up.. $7 = 2 cans of paint & 1 can of clear coat! Haven't even used em yet..

Butchering.......i'd hardly call what DVS done with his grille butchering..it looks mint as....... :shock:

How'd you do that? Much work? Is it difficult? You did the para mod too? How do you find the light difference?

The grill mod isn't that hard but a fair bit of stuffing around, the para's take a bit of getting use to but I like the difference, I don't think the low beam is as good as the standard lights but the high beam in much better

yeah, DVS' grill is cool, and he's being a tightarse and won't tell anybody..i heard DVS_JNR wanted to steal it at one stage..

I can think of a few suggestions, none of which are appropriate for a public forum :bowrofl: :badgrin:
