Hey Guys,

Thought some of you might be interested in what i just found on eBay.

Looks like a good motor, would be pretty damn good for someone who doesnt want to for forced induction but wants some grunt, even if you turboed it, that would be sweet.. :D

the only thing with this motor is its not from a magna may be a sigma as it has no provision for the transverse motor mounts the mount holes on that motor is in the middle of the block not at the back + look at the block where the top balance shaft goes thats out of a early model sigma i think my sons 1985 sigma 2.6 has that plate but he is not home for me to check

Could that be adapted for a magna?

I'm sure it could be, bit of a job. but yeah, considering there used in both sigma and magna, they should be, but it would be abit of work

I would say that is definately from a sigma, judging by the fact that the package includes a mechanical type fuel pump which is run off the cam, magnas didnt have those, also the diff center is from a RWD.

ummmmmmm, the TM had a front engine fuel pump, as in it wasnt found in the tank pushing petrol, the TM would suck it.... but i dont know if it was the same one as the sigma....

you could get it for over sized pistons and crank and bore your own block. same result, original mounts, no engineering cert
:D
