Just playing around with some ideas in my head - wondering if you were to put mirrors in a sub box (say 2 X 12" subs) would the vibrations cause the mirriors to shatter?

ta for any help

no i cant see the vibrations causing the mirrors to shatter....u'd just have to make sure they are stuck down really well so they dont get unstuck....

Would you get 7 years bad luck for each mirror that cracked or just a one off... lol

Nah seriously there are mirror type alternatives if you are worried with a high impact polymer, but it might cost you a bit more... not sure of any more details atm but might be worth considering.

We had them installed at work as the kids I work with are quite prone to breaking things  but these mirrors are tops lol... not as good as the real thing though. Good luck with it.

Glass is very strong. U won't have a problem as long as it's mounted with MDF behind it and all firm against the mdf...

But remember to use short screws to screw ur sub down otherwise smashy smashy :)

Get them made from mirrored Perspex. That will not shatter. ;)
