Just starting a topic so its easier to see etc, what is the go with the falcon wheels fitting to the TR magna onwards? Is it possible? if so, do they all fit well? what model falcons do and which models dont fit? etc.

Just so we can have a resource for everyone to see easily.

Thanks.

AU/BA wheels go straight on

the stud pattern is the same, and the offset is close enough to not matter.

Ford post AU wheels bolt straight up.

BUT, the centre spigot hole in a Ford wheel is about 5 mm Bigger than a Magna's. This means the the wheel studs will be taking all the weight instead on the centre spigot as per design.

This COULD lead to breakages.

Wheel and tyre shops should have the packers needed to fill the gap left by fitting Ford wheels.

Yes I too know of lots of people who have cross-fitted wheels to various cars without problems. But you should know of the risk involved.

See: http://www.mrtrally.com.au/performance/howwheels.htm

And: http://www.autospeed.com.au/cms/A_2241/P_2/article.html Scroll down to "Centre Hole Size"

Hope this helps.

I once saw a TJ Magna in Gosford with those Commodore Chaser rims that the cops use. Looked weird

Pursuit rims... falcons can come with them also, so proberly ones of a falcon.
