I am about to do a 140km engine service on my 2001 TJ 3.5L.
This will be the first service since I have owned it.

I have all the service history as it was a fleet car but it does not give me details on what got done at each service.

I am doing the usual stuff (oil, oil filter, front bank plugs and air filter).
Should I change the fuel filter too.

Also does anyone have a detailed list of what parts get replaced or get special attention at different intervals of servicing for the life of the vehicle. What I mean is, when Mitsu do a service they must have a procedure to change different parts at each service.

Cheers

Wish someone could save this so I don't have to keep writing out services.

15,000k minor service (oil filter, oil, check car over)
30,000k minor service
45,000k minor service + air filter, front plugs, coolant
60,000k minor service
75,000k minor service
90,000k minor service + timing belt, air filter, front plugs, coolant
105,000 minor service + rear plugs, surge tank gasket, fuel filter.

then start all over again so

120,000 minor service
135,000 minor service
150,000 minor service + air filter, front plugs, coolant

etc etc

Don't forget the auto service, extra cost for less performance

What/where is the surge tank? I'm guessing something tio do with the fuel tank.

Is there one on a KR/TR?

I'm angry and My Caps key is broken

damn dude, chill out. He just asked a simple question no need to get abusive. He bought the car 2nd hand and might not have even got the service manual. And get your keyboard fixed.
