As some of you may know I had all my gear stolen nov last year. This included a Pioneer DEH-p4350 deck, Venom 12" sub and a Response 4x100 amp.

It's so costly to replace audio gear  so I'm looking at a similar/slightly better system without spending megabucks.

I have a mate, Mr_Bob, from CAA (Fhrx you'd know Ben for sure!) who's going to help me when I get the money together, but I just wanted to get some ideas from here.

I've been looking at Hertz splits (thought I'd just replace mine and sell the Response Kevlars to a mate of mine, and make an entirely new system). Not sure about amps and subs?

I'm totally lost with car audio because I only learnt what I needed to know to get what I had.

I've heard Cadence amps are good budget ones, or was it Coustic? lol...see...I'm lost.

hertz hsk - 165 best budget 2 way splits imho for 6.5". Around $330 retail
Autobarn may be able to order them in for you if they don't already have them.
Id go coustic over cadence, but either way you get what u pay for sometimes.

Peace

Tim

Depends to dude on your listening tastes, do the elderly still listen to bassy songs :bowrofl:

Sorry, yeah Hertz splits with say Audison SRx3 & Hertz HX300 will do nicely. :D

Coustic are expensive, I wouldn't use these for a budget system
