Does anyone know any websites or something that shows the various paints you can respray a car or something.

someone should tell my brother that... he has the maddest gold paint job on his 3rd gen and it looks clean even wen it was dirty, but he wants to repaint it to that falcon purple colour

nah purple would look pretty gay on a magna i think, i wanna see someone do a BMW-ish dark green/brown/copper sort of colour...

just get a REALLLL good silver paint job done (keep it the same looks very nice as is!) then get a blue pearl overlay

Whats wrong with hot pink?

How uch do resprays cost? Im in Perth and wouldnt mind havin a go at changin the colour of my TH. Its that dark blue metallic at the moment, but would like a more black/purplish colour. Any help would be great

i think hot pink is ok if thats what you want then go for it screw what these other guys think im male and it dont bother me cause i dont have to drive it lol

Pornstar - house of kolour (i think thats how you spell it..) makes a special paint which is kinda like a metalic wash which you put over your existing paint job. For example, you could get a yellow wash and put it over a red car and you would get a really good orangy colour. I have seen that done before on a monaro and it looks bloody good.. really profesional looking paint, looks the biz

I reckon you should get a blue wash over your existing silver paint job. This would give you kinda like a really sparkly "ice" finnish to your car.. would make all other silver cars look like dog poo. Also its much cheaper then a full respray because all they have to do is rub back your existing paint slightly, apply 1 layer of the "wash", 1 layer of gloss, and your done. And you dont have to go to the trouble of removing the engine and stuff for a complete respray because the car is still silver.

well i know of a heap of hot pinks in sydney, if you like pink then yeah it looks quite nice, but it was a stock exec with those ugly wheel covers, so a done up 1 would look tops :D

its not an ugly car as it is.

y dont ya get different window tint colour and maybe like 2 stripes along the bonnet over the roof on the passegers side bit like the gt's....

or a actually good graphic spray job on it look different (plus save on costs)

as for hot pink :cry: that car was one of the best on this site well done to the previous owner

im not a huge fan of graphics.. but blue and gray graphics could have some potential for this car (make it look like my car outa needs for speed underground :P)

but i still like my idea best :)

Edit* im tempted to use this on the interior ... would be cheaper :D but ive got a silver chrom brushed dash kit sittin in my room that cost me a pretty penny :S oooh what to do :S
