Hey I got a price from the Mitsu Dealer in Redcliffe for Ralliart Magna Cams and they quoted me $478 with a trade discount. Can anybody get them cheaper? If u can please contact me as I am wanting some very very soon.

leave it with me but that price sounds pretty good...
to maximise the effect of the cams you will need to map the engine to suit...either via a ralliart ecu or best option would be a haltch interceptor.

cheers

Sure they'll sell them to you off the street w/out a ralliart VIN?? I'm sure another one of the brisbane boys went thru this a few month ago (Kodos maybe?? - can't be sure)

i wasnt aware that you cant buy ralliart magna parts from your local dealer....but if that be the case no probs..let me know what you need......
your wish is my command :D

shouldnt be too much of a drama to put cams in first and not ecu...the ralliart cams are not very agressive cams as they still had to display a smooth idle to keep at the smoothy magna buffs happy.

I've found Redcliffe to be a helpful dealership. I've had several discusions with John about stuff and he's good to talk to. Herb and Alun have also been helpful for spare parts. The place that had issues are a bunch of tight bottoms. I thought the issue would be that only Ralliart dealers could sell Ralliart parts.

Squeeze him a bit more... that's just trade price. There more room for movement than that. That's just under 240 per cam. we could do them for 220 no worries.

If you got dramas with not having a ralliart magna, get a vin no. from another members car or one on carsales or whatever. that'll keep those sob's :D

Buy the cams, send to me and I will get a copy set done, then we don't have to jump all these f**king hoops for Ralliart. I mean, when was the last time they DID actually come to the party???

I bet we can get a better grind made up to and sell them for better than $400 a set!!

Talk to me people!!

During the development stages, Rod says they whacked a pair of the Ralliart camshafts into an otherwise stock TJ Sport and picked up around 5kW. The standard (non-nitrided) valve springs gave no trouble despite vigorous testing.

That's an expensive extra 5kW your hunting for...

Deffinately try and get the price down if you can!

If you get the Ralliart cams, and plug in a Ralliart ECU, do you need to do anything else?
Cause the Ralliart had other differences apart from just the cams.... so would the ECU work properly?

It will work, just not perfectly, the ralliarts had more compression, and also the heads were slightly ported. For the money you would be better off buying an aftermarket ECU/Interceptor.
