If it were me I would forget about rear fill for now and inject the money saved into purchasing better front speakers seeing as you're at the front and your ears face forwards. I would probably choose different speakers to JL's to but that is simply because my tastes are different and I prefer a more refined speaker.

On the subject of sub bass, again I would only go with a single better quality subwoofer rather than two lesser quality ones.

The amplifier I recommend for this type of budget would be the Audison SRx3. That will feed 65 watts into each split set and 300 watts into the sub which will offer control and quality with minimal distortion. However that said you haven't given a budget; if you can afford a twin amplifier system I would then suggest a two channel for the front and a dedicated monoblock for the rear but I'll wait for your reply before I elaborate. :)

Will be quite a nice little system there but don't forget to budget for things like sound deadening, cable and the enclosure. ;)

I agree with fhrx - I had two Pioneer TS-W1201Cs in the boot and replaced them with a single Kicker solobaric dual voice coil (a 12", square sub!)... my intention was only to save space in the boot but I ended up with a louder, cleaner sound anyway!

Greetings All.

Does anyone know of a 12-15" sub that looks great (silver/blue/black) and sounds FANTASTIC?? Ive heard only good things about the JL Audio Subs...Also Im wondering on a good amp...Looking at the single sub to be around $250-400...Amp around the same...(prolly run off a cheap alpine mono...) Ideas Guys?? What do ya Recommend?

Phoenix Gold make nice cheaper subs. :)

The R12 is well worth their relatively cheap $200 pricetag. :)

Greetings All.

Due to finance problems at the moment, I cant afford a sub nor amp...although my kustom parcel shelf and boot will go ahead...Kustom boot and parcel shelf should be done by MM05...

What do you guys think about the front stage and rear fill??

Cheers,
