i'm looking at getting some 18x7.5 alloys for my car, but the offset is a 42 i think? just wondering what offset is required to fit 18's on a magna?

I'm not sure but I think from the above posts 42 might be too much

Yup anything between +40 and +35 should be fine (no rubbing).

+30 would be fine at the back but would stick out to much at the front.
+45 would be fine at the front, but would rub on the suspension arm at the back.

For the back to rub on the body work I would think it would have to be +28 or more....

would that be different for 18's (i'm sure they were talking about 19's)
but even still would 42 be alright for the front but maybe rub at the back?

this is what i was looking at:

Speedy Lite-6

18x7.5 ET42 5x100, 5x114.3
