Hey, got a digital dash (Elite) from Australia. Want to build into a Magna 2400 A/T, which has analog dash. Here in Germany/Europe no digital dash has been sold, so no-one can show me wiring diagrammes or cannot tell me what another parts I need. Someone of Sigma-Galant-Forum told me, need complete wiring loom, computers and sensors.
Is here anyone, who did this job before? What I need for it (perhaps anyone has got any these parts)? What must be combined with which part?
HELP!
PP: Magna is made 1988. Pics in another thread ("post your ride"/ page 10).

your the 2nd person i know of to have the 2.4L, i got heaps a pics of your car, would love the front off one.
you actually have the same gearbox and basic same setup as ours, just everything is on the otherside. all the wiring is identical to overhere, the differene is your engine, as for the color wiring becuase they were made over there and not here you would have to have the original sapporo wiring manual and then compare the wires. there are a few on this forum that have done the analog to digital conversion, the threads are somewhere in here, and i'm sure they'd help you out.
but least you know it can be done. :D
I'm one of the converted. Do you have only the dash, or do you have the whole dash loom?
These sensors need to be changed on the 2.6: Oil pressure sender, Fuel sender. You'll also need the pulse generator.
Is it a manual, or an automatic? If it's an auto, you'll need to run a new Vehicle Speed sensor wire from the pulse generator, unless you have the correct loom.
Do you have a copy of the wiring loom of your car? I'll try and see if I can run a comparison.

2400ccm 8V engine type 4G6
automatic transmission
Have only dash, nothing else. Got this at eBay Australia 2,5 years ago. So need all other missing parts besides good instructions! Guess without part number codes of Mitsubishi cannot order here in Germany any part, but new parts besides this is too expensive, isn't it?
Genuine wiring diagramme of German version I will have a look next week. But have no wiring loom at moment.
Had to sell car 2002 'cause of engine problems, at moment I'm searching for good one. It must have automatic transmission, too, because here this version only had air-condition.
OK. You're not likely to get the parts from Mitsubishi anymore, anyway.
With the loom and sensors, something will have to be worked out. I'll wait for the wiring diagram, and we'll see what needs doing.
