Yeah i know what you mean about lowering it... but bloody insurance wont allow me another mod till next year. And then its as many as i want! I seriously dont know if i can hold out till then though.

The colour is a completely unique colour. My brother in law is a spraypainter and used to do a lot of jobs on show cars, and wanted to develop something that no one has seen. The actual type of paint is the newest type on the market... but unbelievably expensive. Its like a really thin, but more vivid type of paint. Essentially the best way to describe the colour is a purple pearl, with bright red and blue sparkles through it. Sounds kinda gay....but believe me its awesome! And whilst he literally made it up on the spot and probably would never be able to reprocate it again, he made sure he made enough paint to redo the complete car again... he knows how crap a driver i am. lol

Hmm purple, thats the colour I am planning on using! Hehe no worries dude, mine will be of a different variation, I don't actually like the Pearlescent paints personally. :nuts:

The spray painters say i've got a purple/blue pearl coat aswell, but man, it nowhere as gud as u'rs!! mine looks the gloss blue under cloudy conditions, but when the suns out, u can see the purple tinge and yeh, look close and u can see the glittery blue and pruple in the paint :D

I know dammit! But bloody AAMI...you think that being rating 1 and 24 years old id be able to have more then one mod! And im paying $1350 a year for comp insurance!

Another factor is with my gf primarily driving the car im afraid that a seriously lowered car and her inexperience and the sheer shocking state of roads around our area may prove to be the cars downfall. It will be done but it may not be done till next year... is there anything i can do?!!! Is anyone else here with AAMI in Victoria and have similar problems to what i have with mods? I think from memory i may not even be able to tint the windows as that may count as an extra mod. :nuts:

I have found my car feels MUCH more secure and safer since getting lowered springs and new monroe shocks. I would feel more confident that my gf wouldnt crash now my car is lowered than when it had stock suspension. But thats all hypothetical as she cant drive it in the first place cos its manual lol Anyways just remind your gf to go slowly over driveways and stuff and it should be all good. The only thing that ever scrapes on my car is occasionally the tow hooks, but that mostly just sounds bad, but does nothing.

Oh, and i strongly advise you to ring JustCar Insurance. Im 21 and pay $999 full comp on my TE and they let you do lots of mods :)

And dammit i was trying to save up for a deposit on a house.... and said to my brother in law to just respray the car (its original colour was Kashmere). And he returns it to me like that lol. I can see a lot of my money going into it. Its this sites fault for getting me addicted!
