errr.... I think you may want to check with the RTA on this one - I'm sure its contravening an ADR or two!

Yea he's right, RTA wont get to him for a while if ever...

How is the vision going after height adjustment?

You Should be getting less light Peripherally, cause the high beams is sposed to be for direct vision.

Looks prety cool though :D

Another easier and less hassle mod to do is to just put parkers on the high beams section of the headlights.. Like BMW have em.

BMW's actually have LED equipped 'rings' around their headlights

yea thats the newer ones now which also look insane, the older models just had the parkers in the high beams..

My parkes are on the outside where my high beams are now..

Normal beam is on the inside.. its the same as the BMW just around the other way..

Is it possible to adjust each individual projector? Doesn't the high beam projector aim higher than the normal beam? So you would have to lower the orginal high beam projector and raise the normal beam one? Catch my meaning?

Illegal - high beams HAVE to be on the inside, no exceptions.

Parkers can be no more than 300mm from the widest side of the vehicle - this relates to the luminare (ie reflector) centre, not the bulb.

How did you go swapping the reflectors? - I have taken these headlights apart and have seen the design of both reflectors - you would have needed to drill an adaptor plate to get the high beam reflector to go where the low beam one is.

Edit: Oh - I see what you have done - that is just f@cking stupid. You cannot use a high beam reflector for your lowbeams, you far field illumination is too strong, and your near field is too weak. What will you use for high beams now? You will not be able to see objects near the front or sides of the car (ie a kid running out onto the road, or drunks around pubs...)

This would get you a do not drive defect (ie. leave the vehicle here overnight, or get it towed to an RTA inspection station).

I really hope you don't plan on driving this at night.

Cheers
