I will be installing a 2nd amp v soon and am after ideas on how to mount them both, I was planning on mounting them to the rear of the back seat, but my question is how, what do I actually mount them to? Is it safe just to drill into the back seat or can someone give me some other way of mounting them?
Thanks guys/gals.

depending on the size of the amps, u could always get a piece of mdf, mount it behind carpet on the side of the boot, then fasten the amp to the board, repeat steps for opposite side
for mounting it to the backseat, u could get sum liquid nails and nail a piece of mdf to the metal, then place the amps on top of that.

kewl, thanks for the tip, ill mount them to the back seat as they are both small enough to fit together.
How hard is the carpet to remove/refit do you know?

I guess u could get a piece of mdf, slide it under the carpet, and screw the amps onto the wood, through the carpet.
You could also just grab a piece of wood, wrap it in carpet and screw it on, so u dont have to rip off the carpet. never tried ripping out the carpet before.

or u could screw it to the metal, or drill 2 holes and zip tie it on, zit ties are kewl, i like em, there fun, specially when kids at school anoy u and u zip tie their hands and feet to something and they cant move far, then u finish off the job with plenty of duct tape
We usually make a baffle board and trim it to match the rear of the back seats. This way your'e amps are screwed into the board and thus avoid damaging the factory seats. :)
