Hey everyone
I recently got myself a TR magna :D and i am in the process of installing the sound system. I have noticed that alot of members have installed 6x9's in their parcel shelf and from every experience i have had this sounds really crappy(no bass at all) without an MDF or similar parcel shelf to fit the spreakers in. I have found it very difficult to get a 19mm MDF parcel shelf to fit and sit flat (on top of the shaply structual metal shelf). If any one has made a shelf like this could u please direct me in making my own or does anyone have any ideas that would help..
Thanx

The trick is too use a combination of fibrelglass and MDF to get a rounded but tough shelf mate. :)

Hmm sounds quite tricky......i am thinking of getting a shop to do my installation as i now have a 4 channel amp and some 6.5" for my doors. Is it expensive to make a shelf of this type (fibreglass and MDF)??? As i really dont want to spend to much on the installation.
