Howdy,
I've noticed the problem getting worse and worse over the past month or so, but i can really feel the front arms thud around now when i back off and accelerate.
So how hard is it to replace all the rubbers yourself? and if i do i was thinking of throwing in a stiffer sway bar so has anyone put a stiffer sway in a TS? And is there anything else i can upgrade while i'm doing this?

Thanx

You have 2 choices, get "plastic" urathane or you have to get new lower control arms from mitsu for the fronts and new bushes from mitsu for about 160 each for the rears.
Measure your bar as the v6 has a 22mm normally

Are you sure it is not the engine mounts ?

also nolathane bushes which are meant to last even longer, but the thud does sound like an engine mount problem. suspension bushes tend to make the car weave around on the road

Do nolothane bushes make it really stiff?

Or is that just fallacy?

Nolothane are not as good as rubber, if they were they would be used more widly both in street can comp cars.
Nothing is better than rubber, nolothane does deteriorate like rubber but in a more dramatic way. Suspension bushes are not designed to be that hard either

I doubt it's the mounts, but i'll check neway. I did the rubbers on my last car, an 89 camry but the car was off the road for ages so i'll have to do it a lot quicker this time
