Hey guys as you all know my magna was in a crash and i want to get the petrol out of the tank as there is 70ltrs in there how do i get it out.

What can i do to get it out.

I tried syphoning it out but the pipe i have dosent want to go into the tank it keeps hitting something on the way down like a mesh cover or something.

Tried putting another hose on the fuel pump hose but u need the engine cranking to get any petrol out.

Any ideas has anyone done somehting similar in removing petrol i need your help ASAP.

Thanks

Tom

yep, you're probably better off disconnecting it at the filter and letting it dribble out.

Tried siphoning out of TN's full tank. 30 mins & several mouthfuls of gas later, gave up.
There's just too many baffles & traps in an unleaded tank's filler to make it easy.

Much easier siphoning leaded fuel... :P (showing my AGE)

There should be a blue ( i think it is blue) connector on the firewall inside the engine bay with basicly a blanking cap on it. im pretty sure its a 3 pin connector with 2 wires going to it. If you bridge out these 2 wires it will run the fuel pump constantly. Just remove feed hose and pump into buckett while relaxing with a beer as you wait.

i swear there is a drain plug on the bottom!

if that fails, take your fuel filter out, replace it with a long hose and run it to a drum

ign on a few times over.
