Hi, I had a TE and took the headunit (tape) out. A friend of mine has a crappy corolla that we are going to put it in but i remember there being a code for it. However the car is no longer mine. Is there anyway I can find the code???
Thanks in advance

You need to call up Mitsu with the VIN of your old car... hopefully
you've got the VIN on an old rego receipt or something.

If you're out of luck, you can have my radio/cassette headunit, it's coming out tomorrow and I have the code for it.

By picturing together a few photos I had of my engine bay I came up with 6HHTE5042VT027936
does this look even remotely correct? Otherwise I will have to go hunting.
It was a 97 TE

Looks right except I'm pretty sure the first bit is 6MM not 6HH.

I can't say for certain, but all the Magnas I've ever seen were all 6MM.
