Hey guys, just wondering if it would be at all possible to fit a 3.5ltr motor from a TH onwards into a earlier Gen3 a 98TF or a TE for example?
It shouldnt be a problem should it? As its the same motor, same block just a bigger bore in the cylinder?
Any thoughts guys?

It'll fit, just think it sits a little lower thats all.
but really, in the end, its just completely pointless. If you want a 3.5L engine, get a TH or TJ ;)

its not piontless if you already have a 3.5 sitting there, but im guessing the ecu and bem unit would need to be changed
anyone know?

reason im asking is there is a low klm engine available for $1k, now i see a point considering it would cost more to upgrade to a th/tj and then I'd have to start doing stuff I've already done all over again.

I have contemplated this a number of times and still haven't ruled it out... the only major concern with upgrading to a TH or later is my username here lol
But yeah for 1K if it is sound I would be seriously considering putting that in.
i would consider it too but then i would also want a tiptonic gearbox but i dont wanna pay 4k for one :P
