well to begin with the magna was designed as a family car. the engine itself being a 2.6l its for a 4 cyl is a big engine, made to be able to pull 5 people up a hill..

try that in a prelude the engine will die in the arse..

The preludes smaller 2l chamber engine makes it quicker at start off.

We had a gen 3 prelude and it went damn hard - and it was auto ... Scared the pants off alot of unsuspecting victims... :badgrin:

Mate from work has just bought a silver 1998 Honda Prelude Semi-automatic (neweset shape) with 140,000 kms or so for $13,500. What a steal! Most are like $18,000 or so for that year and kms.

actually i was reading an old inside sport the other day, and it said the mx6 turbo was one of the worst coupes ever made, along with the ford capri. i dont know about any of yous, but i can see their point.

If I don't have a big F**K off wing on my car it would fly away too when i accelerate from the lights

i swear if i drove a mx6 i would swap it for a gen 2 magna. might be a downgrade in speed somewhat, but its an increase in class.

actually ive got a friend who drives one of those MX 6's. hes actually too scared to up his boost at all, due to many many engine problems.

engine problems being he will be snobbed for having the most powerful engine in the world!

3rd gens are really nice to drive and you can feel the AWS. It tripps me out when my mate full locks the wheel and all 4 tires have turned :cool:
