Just purchased set of King Springs to lower TH Exec by 40mm. Is anyone able to help me out with how to fit these new springs. Have done another car before, have forgotten the process on how and where to start. Any step by step help would be appreciated. Should I leave it to a techo to do?
Cheers

Take the shocks out making sure you do not take the top pillow mount off until the spring is compressed. then compress the springs using spring compressors (don't even try without getting these). Make sure you have a good look on the orientation of the original springs (where the spring end sits on the shock strut). this will help you install the new ones.
Then remove the top pillow mount.
Once you remove the springs compress the new spring & place it on the strut. Be careful not to allow the compressors to flick off, as these can hurt quite a bit. ***knows from experience***
Make sure the orientation is the same as the old ones.
Reattach the pillow mount & replace the lock nut with a new one. Release the compressed spring.
Now you should have a shock absorber & spring ready to be attached to the car.
Now I may Have left out some small details but basically that is how you do it. It's easy as but just takes a bit of time.
If you have a haynes manual for your car (apprx $30 from autobarn, bookshop etc) then it will help. Actually I suggest getting one of these.
Even borrow one from your local library if needed.
When re attaching your struts to the car, I found it easier to use a jack to lift the rest of the suspension unit up to align the bolts.
Anyway this is just the general process.
