just got my self a set of pioneer 6 "9s ta69s :P. anyhows i got one installed tonight b4 my dad came out yelling and screaming that im making to much racket, just gotta wait for morning to come to install the other

Anyhows this gave me the chance to test the speaker compared to original stock. Turned stereo on and faded it to rear, then swapped balanced to left (original speaker) was all crackly and you cant hear anything from it until i turn on the hpf.

swapped it to the right one (newie) and it was bliss to my ears, the rear speaker actually worked :D

..of course the stock rears i previously had ive blown to bits and distort really bad, so im pretty pleased i got them :D

Have you got a sub as well as the 6x9s?
I still dont know what to get for the back of mine... some people say get 6x9s, but others asy dont if you've got a sub...

be very careful turning the system up with two different speakers. The deck amplifier (the internal one) might not handle unbalanced loads very well. :(

yeh, ive got a neat setup now

12 inch pioneer sub with a bridged kicker 200x2 amp, rear 6'9s and front stock speakers.

fully installed and they pump bloody nicely, i can run just the rears and it sounds sweet, pisses my mum off with the noise so it does the job :D
