I did a search and found a ton of threads on Gearshift Bags , but none told me exactly how to do it..
So how do you replace the Gearshift Bag ??
and what are the best ones that will fit ??

buy a genuine they about $25.00 brought 1 last month
get a grip of the back part of the console (near the centre glove box is) where the little coin hold is and just lift up then the whole unit comes off
oh unscrew the gear knob first
hope that makes sense

See Illustration.
1) Unscrew and remove the gearknob
2) Put the gearstick in the "neutral" position
3) Put pressure at "A" in the direction of the arrow.
4) Using pressure at "A" lift the whole console up and forward in an arc - but not too high!! About 30cm should separate it enought to slide out from under the ashtray towards the backseat.
Ignore the feeling that it's going to break - it wont.
Undo the screws on the boot and slip the newby on!
i think i payed like $20 for a genuine one too
they look good and would be the easiest way to get a nice new one

I got an Autotechnica blue leather one. The leather is too thick, so i had to remove the inside frame that is sits on.
Will get one custom later on.
