I have a sanyo head unit and have seen models similar to mine with remotes, and was just wondering if it's possible to mod it somehow to accept a remote?

It may be as simple as buying the matching remote.

If it is not, it would not be worth the trouble. It would be cheaper to buy a new/second hand HU with a remote.

if it dont come with one it wont have a infra-red sensor requred to receive signals from the remote which means, dont even bother trying you may as well build a new headunit or for the normal people just buy one with a remote
