Can anyone tell me how to bleed the clutch pedal my pedal is a little soft and I sometime have to pump the pedal, I can see the resovoir on the fire wall took the top of and the fluid is black and looks more like oil! Where will I find the bleed nipple and what fluid do i replace it with?
Or if anyone has the pages out the manual they could scan and send me that would be great, thanks guys. :)

clutch is the same as bleeding breaks, parts needed 10 or 8mm ring spanner, container to catch fluid, some 10mm clear tube, clutch fluid.
method: have a friend operate the clutch, pass the tube though the ring spanner that fits the bleed nipple on the slave cyl (on the side of the gearbox), attach tube to bleed nipple then slide the ring spanner down the tube onto the nipple so u can loosen it. have friend pump the clutch a few times then hold it in, loosen nipple and you we see fluid and air come out of the nipple down your tube into your container (no mess) tighten nipple again then have your friend release the clutch (only when bleed nipple is tight) pump the clutch a few times, repeat this about 5 times then top up the fluid, keep doing it untill nice new fluid is seen in the drain tube

I'm pretty sure you use DOT4 brake fluid.. That's what I've used in mine. It should say on the top of the cap.

DOT4 Brake fluid should be used, i used Castrol Response, value for money and i was happy with it.
Make sure you dont get any on the paintwork!! And if you do, wash it off immediately with water..dont wipe it.
from my exp you dont need another person to do it. When you take the cap off the master and open the bleeder nipple it slowly comes out by itself, think it may have to do with how it self adjusts. Anyhoo just do that and keep topping it up. Be warned it will take a LONG time to get all the crap out. Whne i replaced my cyl's it looked like silt, what youd find in the bottom of a river

I would do it with the two person method as suggested, pulling the cap off and letting it run isnt going to expel that much air to be honest, and that is the point of bleeding.
On my car the bleeder is on the clutch slave cylinder, which you will find (looking at the front) on the right hand side of the gearbox towards the bootom (basically next to the engine).

Any brake/hydrolic fluid would be suffice. Dot 4 because you would normaly have some lying around. Brake fluid needs to withstand V high temps, a clutch hydrolic system doesn't. any dot fluid has more than the right properties :D 7 bucks for 500ml is standard price for the stuff
